Betty Andrews Media (BAM), a leader in producing strategic communication impact, is highly recognized in the promotion and event production industries as the “go to” firm for large and small companies, government and non-profits, corporate and private businesses when impact needs to be effective both broadly and with targeted populations. One of BAM’s cornerstone projects is I’ll Make Me a World in Iowa, Iowa's African-American Festival, which atracts 20,000 people annually from accross the Midwest and nationally. BAM is responsible for bringing celebrities like Morris Chestnut, Blair Underwood, Victoria Rowell, Lynn Whitfield, Hill Harper, Sammie, and others to help celebrate African-American Culture in a state not readily known for its diversity. In 2006 in legislature named this organizations theme song, also called I’ll Make Me a World in Iowa as an official state song for the state of Iowa.

| Company history BAM was officially established in 2002 but the Company’s CEO, Betty C. Andrews, a broadcaster by training, has been actively consulting for 10 years. Clients are largely Iowa based, however BAM has worked extensively with some well-known regional national organizations providing professional assistance on how to effectively market to diverse communities.
| Customers BAM contracts with a wide spectrum of clients that include the governor’s office, colleges, national nonprofits, state government departments, business organizations, coalitions and numerous others. In addition Betty Andrews Media offers communications and cultural competency training. Betty is a frequent media commentator and a published diversity expert.
