Andrews, a registered lobbyist, parliamentarian, and former broadcaster, we bring unparalleled expertise to the table. In fact, we are known for often building the table. Betty also serves as the President of the Iowa-Nebraska NAACP State Area Conference, representing over 30 branches of the association and a national NAACP board member. Among countless other accolades, her insights into civil rights, criminal justice reform, diversity, and small business have been recognized by President Barak Obama, Google and Bryan Stevenson’s Equal Justice Initiative and are sought after by organizations nationwide.

I'll Make Me a World in Iowa is Iowa's premiere African American Festival. Drawing thousands, it includes celebrity headliners, performers, vendors, education, carnival, soul food, a wellness expo and more.
The Summits on Justice & Disparities are a call to action bringing together state decision makers, national experts, justice professionals, legislators, law enforcement and community advocates to address minority overrepresentation in the criminal justice system.
BAM's founder serves as the State Area President of the NAACP Iowa-Nebraska. In this role she leads numerous equity efforts. She also serves on the National NAACP Board of Directors representing the 10-State Midwestern Region.
Through the National Institute for Nonprofit Excellence, BAM provides specialized training and official certification in nonprofit management for officers and executives, tailored through a series of expert-designed curricula.
BAM works with clients to define scope and leverage industry expertise, bridging gaps, building relationships, and driving organizational, policy, and community change and deliver transformative and sustainable results.

Hey there! I'm Betty C. Andrews. I'm an entrepreneur, who is invested in sharing my love of strategically building thriving communities; and my expertise in the areas of cultural engagement, systemic change, powerful presentations, historical appreciation, and individual enrichment.

My team and I have led ventures that include successfully getting laws passed, aligning business stewardship with community goals, reimaging diversity, documenting civic legacies; creating diverse educational curriculum and training, community development and more.
